Good things: summer weddings, the Swan House, and brides named Baye.
I could go on about Baye and Martin's wedding- how the threat of rain melted away and we had sunshine all day long. How lovely her dress was (hoop skirt! one shoulder!) or how she later changed into the most beautiful lace jumpsuit for the reception. How great their friends were and how fiercely their bridesmaids and groomsmen love these two. How sweet their families were and how when I hugged Baye's mom goodbye at the end of the night, I was truly sad to go. But honestly? The best part was just Baye and Martin. When we had their engagement shoot a few months back, I talked about the importance of the connection and how in photography, it's everything. And in the hustle and bustle of their wedding day, their connection was as palpable as ever- and I'm so very humbled to have been there to document it on their wedding day. I'm often asked why weddings... aren't they a lot of pressure, people ask? And they are. But why weddings? Because of people like Baye and Martin. Salt of the Earth. I work with all the best people- see below. :)
