“America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.” - Tennessee Williams
I'm so excited to share this one today- because anyone that knows even 10% of me knows my love for New Orleans. It's worlds away from anywhere else I've ever set foot, and when I first connected with Catherine and Max last year, I immediately understood why they wanted to get married there. With their families spread out across the country and the world, and despite calling Los Angeles home, it was New Orleans that was calling them and when a lovely place like New Orleans calls to you, you leap to answer.
The whole weekend was a nod to the lovely city that captured their hearts years ago. At their Rehearsal Dinner the night before, they had a crawfish boil. The next morning, Catherine got ready at the most amazing house- called Wonderland and aptly so- and their wedding was at the Marigny Opera House, a beautiful old church built in 1853 that was abandoned, then revitalized, because it's New Orleans- and there's no place like it on Earth.
Catherine and Max, infinite thanks and love to you both for welcoming me so warmly and allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day, and extra thanks and hugs to wedding planner extraordinaires-turned-friends at Mint Julep Productions. Forever grateful for you all!
