Chandler and Jason's story has been one of my favorites- lots of almost crossing paths as they both grew up in Georgia, both spent time in the same country overseas, and both moved to New York City, which has quickly become home.
They're getting married this fall here in Atlanta, but because their sweet city means so much to them, we decided that running around New York for their engagement shoot would be a pretty great idea- and oh my, it sure was. From Dumbo in Brooklyn to the waterfront of the East River and Brooklyn Bridge Park, to Manhattan's East Village and Tompkins Square Park, we hopped between some of their most meaningful spots and the 5:30 AM wake-up calls were well worth it all around. (We even stopped by Jason's old apartment building that just so happens to have once graced a Led Zeppelin album cover- which made my Led Zeppelin-loving dad extra excited that I was going to shoot in front of the Physical Graffiti building.)
Chandler and Jason, thank you so, so much for the best morning in a city that means so much to me too. See you in October! xo, Krista
