Summer weddings are the sweetest. Longer days, bluer skies, and the slower pace of summer means that weddings get to stretch their legs a bit too- shoes kicked off, dancing under the stars, and faraway views that feel like vacation. Amber and John's wedding last month was at the Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm in North Georgia and was the epitome of summer... but my favorite part was their ceremony: down a rolling dirt path, past meadows with horses and goats, and under a huge tree, they exchanged vows as John's brother officiated. It was quiet and peaceful and lovely and everything a wedding should be. Then it got even better- after we dashed away to another pasture for some photos with the horses, Amber and John kicked off their reception with the best swing dancing I've ever seen.
Amber and John, I'm so grateful to you both for getting to be there and be witness to such an important day. Endless love to you both- congratulations again, guys! xo
