Amanda and Chaim's wedding day at Callanwolde was the most beautiful day full of the most meaningful traditions. When I first arrived that afternoon and headed upstairs to the bridal suite, sunlight spilled into the room in patterns across the old wood floors, and it felt like the loveliest tone to start their wedding day.
Amanda embraced a sweet family tradition of recreating a portrait that both her grandmother and mother had taken on their own wedding days. (Cue me, expertly hiding my tears behind my camera when I started to cry alongside some of her bridesmaids! What a wonderful thing to recreate.) They filled a room with old wedding photos of family- parents and grandparents and beyond. They signed their Ketubah in honor of Chaim's Jewish faith. They ate and drank and were married, and they danced the night away, surrounded by friends and family who loved them, celebrated them, and toasted them with the sweetest sentiments (which made me tear up all over again).
Amanda and Chaim, I'm so grateful to you both for the honor of being a part of your wedding day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and adventuring together. Mazel tov and lots of love! xo
