After all this time, it's still you.

Jennifer and Simeon were married last month at the Stables at Foxhall, and it was the loveliest culmination of their ten years together. All day long, there was love bursting from every seam. One of my favorite moments was when, during portraits in the horse pastures, as Jennifer's high heels gave her some trouble in the grass, her sister took off her own shoes without hesitation and put them on Jennifer as she went barefoot herself. That is love. Another favorite? Simeon mentioned to me earlier in the day that he had a "little surprise" for Jennifer at the reception- but when he and all of his groomsmen burst into the most amazing choreographed dance, every single one of us in that room was beaming and laughing and it was one of the best public declarations of love and joy that I've ever seen. That is love.
